Objectives
Dr. Brooke Scheller, a doctor of clinical nutrition, reached out to me to build her platform as an authority in functional sobriety, so she could get a book deal. The goal was to grow her media presence to establish her as the #1 resource in leveraging nutrition as an ally in sobriety.
Solutions
I created a strategy to get Brooke onto podcasts and into top tier media, so major publishing houses would be interested in giving her a book deal. Podcasts were an especially important piece of the strategy because they’d drive traffic to Brooke’s social media and her online course. I also helped Brooke with optimizing her website and social media to capture the maximum interest of new visitors.

Objectives
Oak Trust Properties wanted to be known as the leading property management company in Charleston, SC. Few of their competitors had media coverage, so they wanted to capitalize on the opportunity to outrank them in Google searches. Oak Trust Properties was unique in being a bubbly team of almost entirely women in a buttoned-up, male-dominated industry, which offered an opportunity to fill a gap and stand out.
Solutions
To meet the goals of the campaign, I set up a strategy to get Oak Trust Properties’s leadership team on high-level podcasts and in local and trade media. I leveraged the company’s unique (for its industry) women-led, energetic persona to stand out in media interviews and appeal to a growing segment of women real estate investors that don’t resonate with traditional property management companies.
Results
1. Higher Google Search Ranking
Oak Trust Properties’s domain authority increased by 108% and they moved from the bottom of page 3 to the top of page 2 in Google’s results for “Charleston property management,” making themselves more visible to prospective clients.
2. Covered in Major National and Local Media
Oak Trust Properties got article placements in national real estate media like HomeLight and Spark Rental, along with local media, including The State and Charleston Grit.
